Des souvenirs en miettes

Meaning "memories in pieces" or "memories in crumbs" in French, this piece was completed in Fall 2022 following a summer spent in Paris, France using only mechanical pencils. During my time in the city, I interned for an architecture firm in the area and fully immersed myself in the culture. This piece was my way of reminiscing on my experiences in Paris as well as of coping with the adjustment to American life thereafter. The drawing was eventually exhibited in Cornell University's Tjaden Gallery in the show, Just Soup in October 2022.
